ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management)



General Information

The strand will focus on the basic concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations, and all the things that are accounted for. It can also lead the students to careers in management and accounting such as being a sales manager, marketing director, project officer, bookkeeper, accounting clerk, internal auditor, and a lot more.


Core Subjects

The 7 Learning Areas, covering the basic topics: Languages, Literature, Communication, Mathematics, Philosophy, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.


Applied Subjects

Designed to focus on the specific applications of in accounting, entrepreneurship and business management


Specialized Subjects

Similar to the major subjects in college such as Management, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship etc, although they're designed to be less complex than their college counterparts.


Under this strand, students can take up different fields in college such as:

Accountancy

Taking up BS Accountancy can land you into different jobs after you graduate. In fact, students can become an accounts payable clerk, bookkeeper, budget analyst, internal auditor, or chief financial officer if they decide to take this course.

Business Administration

With a course in Business Administration, a student can get on board with other various fields in the corporate setting like becoming a loan officer, administrative assistant, community-service manager, market-research analyst, financial adviser, and statistician.
